Theoretical study has covered the advantages of utilization of highways for traffic of freight vehicles and road toll payment. The conclusion has been drawn that the utilization of highways for traffic of heavy vehicles appears indispensable and highly justifiable also in the conditions of road toll payment. In illustration of the structure of the traffic flow on the roads in Croatia, a detailed structure has been shown for the sections of the highway on the Zagreb-Prvča (near Nova Gradiška) route.
Transportation costs depend upon the conditions in which the service is operated. It is necessary to introduce new organization of the transportation process. New organization has to make it possible for individual vehicles of the motor pool to spend as much time as possible transporting freight. New technological developments in tntcks manufacturing create the possibilities for reducing the freight loading/ unloading process to a single minute or less. This further enables better making use of the driver's working time. Also, vehicles could be changed in transport of special loads. This then increases the efficiency of the motor pool and decreases the transportations costs.
A large sample of departures of a service operated by a transport company in public suburban passenger road traffic has been used for the study of random variable CJp expressed by the average number of passengers carried per stop-to-stop sections of the suburban route, as one of the essential bus utilization and output indices. Depending upon the system of scheduled departures, the mean value of variable CJp has been obtained which for departures in a workday is 17 passengers per a stop-to-stop section of the route and 7 passengers for departures on Saturdays. The obtained mean values of the observed variable make it possible for us to compute the coefficient of static utilization of transport capacities, i.e. the average utilization rate of bus transport capacities on suburban lines: 21% on workdays, 14% on Saturdays, 9% on Sundays. It has been established that variable CJp adopts its values by the exponential law of probability, i.e. the values from the sample originate from the basic array of exponential distribution. Test.ing the difference between the arithmetic means of the examples of variable CJp depending upon the system of departures maintained, has yielded a statistically significant difference and at the same time confirmed the justifiability of the applied variable analysis methods.
Natural barriers on the route between the seaside and North Croatia have to a degree always hindered traffic and transport of people and goods. This has readily been accepted by different opponents of unified Croatian national territory, advocating the optimal aspect of linkage of the Balkan region on the East- West horizontal rather than on the North-South vertical, so that such ideas have been promoted and materialized on many occasions in the past.
The paper deals with the interdependent aspect of telecommunications and tourist trade, their correlation and common interests. Contribution of telecommunications is manifested in quality, structuring and materialization of business policy of the travel trade. As different, by the action of demographic, economic, technological and social/cultural forces it tends to bring together the tourist trade essentially affects the functioning and development of telecommunications as one of its infrastructure elements or, otherwise, a specific segment. Travel market being directly integrated into the international market most quickly reacts to the international development trends, the rejvre to the development of telecommunications as well. The indispensable introduction of new services is further pronounced in the changes to be caused by the integration of the 12 national markets of the EC in to a single unified market with access granted only upon eliminating all technical obstacles for the appearance on this market.
Constant increase of the number of automobiles causes demand for individual materials to get on the rise, thus giving an impulse to the development of recycling logistics. Used automobiles get disassembled and individual parts which can be used as raw materials or additives get recycled. Automobile tires can be reclaimed or vulcanized. In July 1978 the environmental-friendly 'Blauer Engel' or 'Blue Angel' symbol was first introduced for reclaimed tires. Later, emblems were introduced for other recycled automobile pans. The awarding of the emblem is being controlled and approved by authorized institutes, because the emblem rightfully designates traffic safety.
Education of operators in air, road and rail transport is particularly significant for traffic safety. It. can generally be divided in to three stages (selection, theoretical and practical part, and training in the course of service). Numerous are the factors affecting the efficiency of an operator, while ergonomy being part of industrial psychology gives answers to the essential issues and measures for the elimination of adverse effects in operators. . The modern school and university system as well as the economic system of the Republic of Croatia have been meeting the world standards in operator education by way of the scientifically grounded training of manpower. It is necessary to find common grounds in education of operators in all segments of the transport industry.
On the defined model, the paper deals with the thermal dynamic analysis of functioning of the model of type H20- -NaCl protection mixtura making and the impact of condition changes of the obtained mixture upon tje reliability of the tangential friction force introduction and the factore of working the carriageway surface with the tires of teh givan vehicle.
