The paper deals with technology and traffic-aspected projects of construction of the new Nedelišće railway station within the scope of the future Nedelišće industrial zone with reference to the existing Čakovec railway station facilities.

The paper deals with modem telecommunications development trends. The authors first provide a review of major factors of impact upon this development (telecommunications users' needs, changes on the market of telecommunications services, and advancement of the telecommunications technology). In conclusion the paper lists some basic references of the future development of the telecommunications network in general and of the terminal equipment or facilities of this network in particular.

The paper deals with identifying some marginal groups in traffic (children, senior citizens, disabled persons and other risk groups) and provides data on their share in the total number of Zagreb inhabitants in conjunction with some aspects of traffic trauma and safety. The author first discusses the sociological definition of the term of marginal group within a wider scope of viewing the matter, and then refers to respective approaches of traffic, engineering and medical science. In conclusion the paper provides a concise review of the existing and required practical propositions in traffic and the need for their wider-scope (re)defined concept.

This paper deals with identifying the existing state of affairs and possibilities for restructuring of a medium operator with the objectives of higher efficiency and optimum operations. The author advocates the concept of having the basic approach to such restructuring governed by the functional principle within the scope of the registered business of the company. The paper further deals with the present level of engagement of the company as well as the trend of business indices on completed transport services as compared with the last fiscal year. A technical and utilization analysis of transport capacities in passenger and freight transport has been completed with particular reference to the issues of maintenance and reliability of the motor pool placing accent on to the need for the introduction of a programmed preventive maintenance of vehicles. Particular attention has been paid to the services/ /garage division whose operations primarily viewed from the aspect of prevention measures should considerably contribute to the higher level of optimum operational aspect of the motor pool. The existing management chart of the urban and suburban transport has been committed to analysis.

The paper deals with the respective measurement system and models for measurement results processing as developed for the requirements of identification of the Diesel engine with supercharging. Subject measurement and measurement results processing have been PC-aided.

The paper deals with the issues of aircraft maintenance management per JAR 145. The introduction of JAR 145 has set the requirement for European airlines to adjust to the new system of maintenance and issuance of certificates on completed servicing as required by the Joint Airworthiness Requirements. From JAR 145 standards originate the requirements for personnel and equipment in compliance with ISO 9002, management aspects and types of servicing.
